The 5-th Anniversary Conference "SCS in Ukraine: technological strategies and market tactics", organized by the magazine "Networks and Business" was held. The fact that the event would be successful we realized when at 9 am in the conference hall there were no empty seats. For several years the magazine "Networks and Business" is researching SCS market. This year is not an exception. On June 02, 2009, the company Synergia SE, exclusive distributor of R&M solution in Ukraine, took part in the conference “Triple Play, IPTV. Access networks”, organized by the Ukrainian magazine “Networks and Business”. The conference was oriented to the mobile and cable TV operators, home networks operators, Internet providers, system integrators, design’ organizations, potential state and corporate end-users, hotels and services sector end-users as well.

During the conference “SCS in Ukraine – market transformation and business diversification” the company Synergia, exclusive distributor of R&M solution in Ukraine, familiarized the participants with new approaches in sales, told about market opportunities, new products and alternative solutions to help Partners do their business more successful in current economic situation. The following R&M solutions were presented: Real10, RMS45, microsplitters, 2U patch panels RJ45 and cabling organizers, U-Box, Patch Guard RJ45 & FM45, also a few types of technology of FTTx, new fiber-optics solutions from R&M, which in a complex allow to realize the solutions of FTTD technology. Also the company Synergia delighted all participants of the conference with the modern exposition «Synergia cabling contemporary art».
26 of February 2009 the company Synergia SE took part in the conference “Data centres: the formula of effective solutions”. It was the traditional event which opened the series of the conferences of the magazine “Networks and business”. More than 200 participants, the representatives from different companies, gathered in the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Ukraine. The content of the conference was formed to illustrate all aspects in data centres' constructions from hardware to software. As the exclusive distributor of R&M solutions in Ukraine, the company Synergia SE took part as the sponsor of the section “Structured cabling systems for Data centres”.

The 6th of December, in the premises of Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce, the 16th Annual Charity Bazaar, organized by International Women's Club of Kyiv took place. The main purpose of this Event was collecting money for charity projects in Kiev and Kiev region. The booths and stands from 37 countries were presented on the Charity Bazaar.

That is 22 percent less than in 2008. “At the start of 2009, the decline in sales was not foreseeable in the magnitude in which it came. This drop reflects the tough market environment,” CEO Martin Reichle said. “We did manage to offset part of the decline in the final quarter. I see light on the horizon,” Martin Reichle added. EBIT for 2009 amounted to 6 percent. “That is a satisfactory result, especially because we con-sciously dispensed with far-reaching cost cutting and continued unabated with strategically important projects. We knew we were going to break even for quite some time but actually ended up with a small profit,” Martin Reichle noted.
The cabling specialist Reichle & De-Massari AG (R&M) from Wetzikon, Switzerland has invested in a new company building to safeguard continued growth. The family firm laid the foundation stone for the new ecological building around a year ago. Last week the building's shell was completed. The building will be ready for occupation in mid 2010. The R&M cube is one of the largest low-exergy company buildings in Switzerland.
The Swiss cabling specialist Reichle & De-Massari AG (R&M) ended fiscal 2008 with sales of CHF 247 million, a figure 2.2 percent higher than in the previous year. EBIT totaled 7 percent.
The Swiss cable specialist Reichle & De-Massari AG (R&M) has enlarged its top management. Effective September 1, 2008, Martin Rosatzin joined the management as CTO (Chief Technology Officer). The CTO position was created to deal with the complex requirements of the international markets and the demands associated with being the innovation leader in the industry. Martin Rosatzin is a physicist by training and has an executive MBA from the University of Zurich.
The Swiss cabling specialist Reichle & De-Massari AG (R&M) can look back on a further period of growth in the first-half of 2008. With sales amounting to CHF 122 million the company has been able to post a 5.1 percent increase. In terms of local currencies, growth amounted to 7.8 percent. With the exception of Switzerland, is growing in the majority of key markets with the strongest increase in sales evident in the regions of Germany, the Middle East, and Central and Eastern Europe. For the second half-year we are expecting the sales figures to show little change.
